THROTTLE CONTROL
The throttlecontrolis locatedon the rear of the engine.
It regulatesthe speedofthe engineand will shut off the
enginewhenmovedintothe STOPposition.
RECOIL STARTER HANDLE
This handleis usedto manuallystartthe engine.
ELECTRIC STARTER BUTTON
Pressingthe electricstarterbuttonengagesthe engine's
electricstarterwhen pluggedinto a 120Vpowersource.
ELECTRIC STARTER OUTLET
Requiresthe use ofa three-prongoutdoorextensioncord
(included)and a 120Vpowersource/walloutlet.
AUGERS
When engaged,the augersrotateand drawsnow intothe auger
housing.
CHUTE ASSEMBLY
Snowdrawnintothe auger housingis dischargedout the chute
assembly.
PRIMER
Depressingthe primerforcesfuel directlyintothe engine'scarburetor
to aid in cold-weatherstarting.
OIL FILL
Engineoil levelcan be checkedand oil addedthroughtheoil fill.
GAS CAP
Unthreadthe gascap to add gasolineto thefuel tank.

The drivecontrolis locatedon the righthandle.Squeezethe control
grip againstthe handleto engagethe wheeldrive.Releaseto stop.
NOTE:Alwaysreleasethedrive controlbeforechangingspeeds.
Failureto do so will result in increasedwearon yourmachine'sdrive
system.

The chutedirectionalcontrol is locatedon left sideof the snowthrower.
To changethe directionin which snowis thrown,turnchute directional
controlas follows:
,, Crank clockwiseto dischargeto the left.
,, Crank counterclockwise to dischargeto the right.
SKID SHOES
Positionthe skid shoesbasedon surfaceconditions.Adjust upward
for hard-packed snow.Adjustdownwardwhenoperatingon gravelor
crushedrock surfaces.
The augercontrol is locatedon the left handle.Squeezethe control
grip againstthe handleto engagethe augersand start snowthrowing
action.Releaseto stop.
