PROBLEM
The hammer drill does
not start when trigger
switch is squeezed
CAUSE SOLUTION
Check to be sure power
cord is connected to
power source and that
power source (outlet) is
operable
Connect to power
source.
Confirm power source
(outlet) is operable
Check drill bit and chuck Replace drill bit if dull or
Will not drill worn; tighten chuck jaws
jaws to firmly secure drill bit
Bit cannot be installed Sleeve is not released Release the sleeve
Be sure cooling vents Clean, clear vents.
Motor overheating are free from dust and Do not cover with hand
obstacles during operation
