EMiSSiONCONTROL SYSTEMWARRANTY
EmissionControl System Warranty (ECSwarranty) for equipment using small spark-ignited engines:
(a) Applicability: This warranty shall apply to equipmentthat uses small off-road engines.The ECSWarranty period shall begin on the datethe new
equipmentis purchased by/deliveredto its original, end-use purchaser/ownerand shall continuefor 24 consecutivemonths thereafter.
(b) GeneralEmissions WarrantyCoverage:Generacwarrants to the original, end-use purchaser/ownerof the new engine or equipmentandto each
subsequentpurchaser/ownerthat the ECSwhen installedwas:
(1) Designed, built and equipped so as to conform with all applicable regulations;and
(2) Freefrom defects in materials and workmanship which causethe failure of a warranted part at any time duringthe ECSWarranty Period.
(c) The warranty on emissions-relatedparts will be interpretedas follows:
(1) Any warranted part that is not scheduledfor replacement as requiredmaintenancein the Owner's Manualshall be warrantedfor the ECS
Warranty Period.If any such part fails duringthe ECSWarranty Period,it shall be repairedor replacedby Generacaccording to Subsection
(4) below. Any such part repairedor replacedunder the ECSWarrantyshall be warrantedfor the remainder of the ECSWarrantyPeriod.
(2) Any warranted part that is scheduledonly for regular inspection as specified in the Owner's Manualshall be warranted for the ECSWarranty
Period.A statement in the Owner's Manualto the effect of "repairor replaceas necessary" shall not reduce the ECSWarrantyPeriod.Any
such part repairedor replacedunder the ECSWarrantyshall be warrantedfor the remainder of the ECSWarranty Period.
(3) Any warranted part that is scheduledfor replacementas requiredmaintenancein the Owner's Manual shall be warranted for the period of time
prior to first scheduledreplacementpoint for that part. If the part fails prior to the first scheduledreplacement,the part shall be repairedor
replacedby Generacaccording to Subsection (4) below. Any such emissions-relatedpart repairedor replaced underthe ECSwarranty shall
be warrantedfor the remainder of the periodprior to the first scheduledreplacement pointfor that part.
(4) Repairor replacementof any warranted, emissions-relatedpart underthis ECSWarranty shall be performed at no chargeto the owner at a
GeneracAuthorizedWarranty Service Facility.
(5) Notwithstandingthe provisions of subsection (4) above, warranty services or repairs must be provided at GeneracAuthorizedService
Facilities.
(6) When the engine is inspectedby a GeneracAuthorizedWarrantyService Facility,the purchaser/owner shall not be held responsiblefor
diagnostic costs if the repair is deemed warrantable.
(7) Throughoutthe ECSWarranty Period,Generacshall maintaina supply of warranted emission-relatedparts sufficient to meet the expected
demand for such parts.
(8) Any Generacauthorizedand approvedemission-relatedreplacement parts may be used in the performance of any ECSwarranty maintenance
or repairsand will be providedwithout chargeto the purchaser/owner.Such use shall not reduce GeneracECSWarrantyobligations.
(9) Unapproved,add-on, modified, counterfeit and/or "grey market"parts may not be used to modify or repaira Generacengine.Such use voids
this ECSWarranty and shall be sufficient grounds for disallowing an ECSWarrantyclaim. Generacshall not be held liable hereunderfor
failures of any warranted parts of Generacequipmentcaused by the use of such an unapproved,add-on, modified, counterfeit and/or "grey
market" part.

AIR INDUCTION SYSTEM

IGNITIONSYSTEM
A. SPARKPLUGS
B. IGNITIONCOILS/ MODULE
4)
AIR INJECTION SYSTEM
A. PULSEAIRVALVE
5)
EXHAUST SYSTEM
A. CATALYST
B. THERMALREACTOR
