Some examples
of these chemicals
are:
Lead from lead- based paints.
Crystalline
silica from bricks and cement and other masonry products.
Arsenic and chromium,
from chemically
treated lumber.
Your risk from these exposures
varies, depending
upon how often you do this
type of work. To reduce your exposure
to these chemicals:
Work in a well-ventilated
area.
Work with approved
safety equipment,
such as those dust marks that are
specially
designed
to filter out microscopic
particles.
After taking the adjustable
work stand out of the box, check for misalignment
or
binding of moving parts, bending
or breakage of parts, and any other condition
that may affect the adjustable
work stand's operation.
If any part is missing
or damaged,
return the adjustable
work stand to your nearest Sears store or
Craftsman
outlet to have the work stand replaced.
