Using the VFL.t Video Flash Light (Optional)
This video flash light attaches to the camcorder's ,o_°" advanced accessory shoe for
cable-free operation and is powered by the camcorder's power supply.
Using it as video light, you can set it to turn on and off automatically according to the
surrounding brightness. The flash has a higher intensity than the built-in flash and can
be set to the same modes as the built-in flash.
Refer also to the VFL-1 Video Flash Light instruction manual.
0 Always turn off the camcorder before attaching/removing the video flash light.
0 Do not carry the camcorder by the video flash light.
The built-in flash does not fire when you attach the video flash light and set its
POWERswitch to a position other than OFF.
Attaching the _ideo E!ash Light
1. Remove the accessory shoe cover.
2. Slide the video flash light into the
accessory shoe until it clicks.
3. Tighten the shoe lock.
Makes sure that the video flash light is
securely attached to the camcorden
