10. Install the screw to secure the new power switch board in the computer.

11. Connect the power switch board cable to the power switch board cable connector on the system board.

12. Secure the new power switch board cable into the cable tie in the computer.
13. Install the hard disk drive into the computer. See "Replacing the hard disk drive bracket" on page 107.

Replacing the heat sink

Attention: Do not open your computer or attempt any repair before reading and understanding the "Important
safety information" on page 1.
This section provides instructions on how to replace the heat sink.
CAUTION:
The heat sink and fan assembly might be very hot. Turn off the computer and wait three to five
minutes to let the computer cool before removing the computer cover.
To replace the heat sink, do the following:
1. Turn off the computer and disconnect all power cords from electrical outlets.
2. Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the computer cover" on page 77.
3. Locate the heat sink on the system board. See "Locating FRUs and CRUs" on page 69.
