This VCR can be used both for recording and
playback. Whichever case you choose, the
procedure is the same as explained below.
Synchro editing is possible if the two VCRs have
different remote control codes ("VCR1" and
"VCR2").
Note: If "VCR1" appears in the remote display
when a button on the remote control is pressed,
and
flashes in the VCR display, change the
remote control code of the recording VCR (this
VCR) to "VCR2". See page 60 for how to change
the remote control code.
Connect the second VCR to this VCR as shown
above. (Refer to the manual of second video
equipment for connection.)
Note: If the second video equipment has only
single audio output, connect it to the L-AUDIO IN
socket to record audio on the L and R channels.
If a playback video source is connected to the
Scart socket, the TV can be connected to the RF
OUT terminal or any other Scart Sockets of this
VCR.
Turn on the VCR and the TV, then set the TV to the
video programme number.
Press the AUX button to display "L1", "L2" or
"L3" in the VCR display.
Select "L3" to record the source input via the
VIDEO IN/AUDIO IN jacks, "L2" to record the
source input via the DECODER socket or "L1" to
record the source input via the Scart socket on the
back of the VCR.
