4.6 Switching the Edge Cutter On and Off

The edge cutter of the 550-12-24 and -26 can be switched in at any
time. Its upper knife is so designed as to give a sure cut even when
switched in during the seam.
Caution Risk of Injury!
When switching on the knife do not reach into the cutting area.
Remove the finger guard only for repair work and replace immediately
if damaged.
