12. V-belt Tension

The notched V-belt must be under sufficient tension for the unit to run
softly into the end position.
Tension the notched V-belt so that it can be pushed in at the
center approx. 10 mm by finger pressure.
Caution Risk of Injury !
Turn the main switch off.
Set the V-belt tension only with the main switch turned off.
To correct:
–
Loosen nut 1.
–
Swing the sewing drive 2 until the correct V-belt tension is
achieved.
–
Tighten nut 1.
