Cause
The paper is jammed in the back of
the machine.
The paper is jammed in the paper
tray of the machine.
The print limit set in Secure
Function Lock 2.0 was reached.
The machine could not access the
print log file in the server.
Manual was selected as the paper
source when there was no paper in
the Manual Feed Slot.
The belt unit is not installed
correctly.
The machine is out of paper or
paper is not correctly loaded in the
specified paper tray.
Printing color documents is
restricted.
The toner cartridge or the toner
cartridge and drum unit assembly is

Place the same size of paper in the Manual Feed Slot
as is shown on the LCD. If the machine is in Pause
mode, press Go (see Loading paper in the Manual
feed slot on page 12).
Reinstall the belt unit (see Replacing the belt unit
on page 128).
Put paper in the indicated paper tray.
Make sure the paper guides are set to the correct
size.
Contact your administrator to check your Secure
Function Lock Settings.
Remove the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly,
remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit, and
reinstall the toner cartridge back into the drum unit.
Reinstall the toner cartridge and drum unit assembly
back in the machine. If the problem continues,
replace the toner cartridge (see Replacing the toner
cartridges on page 111).
Reinstall the standard paper tray.
Reinstall the Waste Toner Box (see Replacing the
waste toner box on page 133).
Contact your administrator to check your Secure
Function Lock Settings.
Press Cancel and delete the previously stored
secure print data.
Reduce the complexity of your document or reduce
the print resolution.
Press and hold down
Wait a few seconds, then turn it on again.
