4. Removing the drive motor
1) Remove the document cover.
2) Remove the document glass unit.
3) Remove the sliding rod.
4) Remove the scanning unit.
5) Remove two screws and lamp cable to remove the lamp unit.
6) Remove two screws and drive motor cable, then remove the drive motor.

Note: Do not remove the CCD drive PCB from the scanning unit since it must be adjusted
at the factory.
