    etting and using the oven programmer/timer Selecting manual operation mode After your appliance is connected to your mains supply for the first time, the numbers on the timer display will flash. Before you can select a cooking function or set a temperatur e, you m s set the appliance into manual operation mode.

    Setting the minute minder function You are able to set the minute minder at any time, regardless of whether an oven function has been selected. Y ou can set a eriod of time using the minute minder function and an alarm ll sound when this period of time has elapsed.

    Setting the duration function This function will allow you to set a countdown time simila r to he minute minder function. However the oven will no longer ntinue to heat, once the countdown period has elapsed. Use the thermos tat control knob (11) to set the temperature that you require.

    Setting the end cook function This function is similar to the duration function, however instead of selecting a p eriod of time that you wish the oven to witch off after. You select the time of day that you wish the n to switch off at.

    Setting the start and end time function his function will allow you to set a time in the future that the en switches on at and a time that the oven will switch off a Use the thermos tat control knob (11) to set the temperature that you require.

    GRILL MODE: This method of cooking utilises the inner sections of the top element, which directs heat downwards onto the food. This function is suitable for grilling portions of bacon, toast and meat etc. FAN AND GRILL: This method of cooking utilises the top element in conjunction with the fan, which helps to provid quick circulation of heat.

    Oven operating light This light will come on to indicate that the oven’s heating elements in operation. The light will turn off when the temperature set on the ermostat control knob has been reached. It will cycle on and off throughout the cooking time.

    rnings o Keep the oven door closed when using any of the grill function Do not use aluminium foil to cover the grill pan or h eat items wrapped in aluminium foil under the grill. The high reflectivity of the foil could potentially damage the grill element. You should also never line the base of your oven with aluminium foil.

    Any damage that is caused to the appliance by a cleaning product will not be fixed by Baumatic free of charge, even if the appliance is within the guarantee period.

  • Page 24: Reversing The Door Of Your Appliance

    Reversing the door of your appliance (MG1/SB1/TG1 only) IMPORTANT: This operation must be only carried out by a suitably qualified person. Baumatic Ltd. do no recommend that a customer completes this operation. It is nece ssary to disconnect the oven from the mains before executing the operations described in the present manual.
