PROBLEM
The generator fails
to start

The generator is
difficult to start

CAUSE
Engine switch is off
Not enough oil in the
generator
No fuel
Spark plugs not working
correctly
The device you are trying to
power is faulty
The AC breaker is switched off Switch the AC breaker on
The air filter is dirty
The fuel filter is dirty
SOLUTION
Set the engine switch to 'I'
Add more oil, See page 9
Add more fuel, See page 10
Change the spark plugs, See

Make sure the device you want to
power is working properly
