Make sure that you have kit A4980A and that it contains the following
items:
• PCI backplane
• GSC-to-PCI interface board
Tools Required
You'll need the following items to install the PCI Module:
• #1 Pozidriv screwdriver (with extension)
• T10 and T-15 Torx screwdrivers
• Static-free work area.
Prerequisites
1 Stop any application programs, then shut down the system.
2 Turn the system off, and unplug the power cord(s) and all other cables and
terminators from the system.
3 If the system is mounted in a rack, remove it from the rack.
WARNING:
To avoid electrical shock, make sure you unplug the power cable from the wall
outlet and the system unit before proceeding any further.
