Installation

Before installing the operating system

IMPORTANT:
connect the server hardware as described in the server user guide. Do not install additional
hardware devices until after the software installation is complete.

Installing the operating system

Power up the server. The HP Welcome screen appears.

At the HP Welcome screen, press the appropriate key to continue. The server software license screen

Select the Typical disk space option. This option sets the partition size to 60 GB.

Select the Custom disk space option. This option enables you to set the partition size over 60 GB
