Configuring the local time zone
Changing the temporary files directory location
You can change the local time zone region that is used to format the date and
time for logging and reporting purposes. If the selected time zone does not
match the local time zone of the server, all report times will be offset to the
server local time.
To configure the local time zone
1
On the Symantec Mail Security for SMTP administrative interface, in the
left pane, click Configuration.
2
On the Setup tab, under Local time zone, in the Region drop-down list,
select a region.
3
On the Country/City drop-down list, select a country or city.
4
Click Save Changes.
During installation, you select the locations for all directories. Through the
administrative interface, you can change the location for the directories that
contain temporary files that are created during Symantec Mail Security for
SMTP scanning.
