Basic Regulations

United States (FCC Regulations)

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case
the user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
Warning: In order to allow this equipment to operate in close proximity to Industrial, Scientific and
Medical (ISM) equipment, the external radiation from ISM equipment may have to be limited or
special mitigation measures taken.
Changes and modifications to this equipment not specifically approved by Xerox may void the user's
authority to operate this equipment.
Shielded cables must be used with this equipment to maintain compliance with FCC regulations.

European Union

The CE mark applied to this product, symbolizes Xerox's declaration of conformity with the following
applicable European Union Directives, as of the dates indicated:
December 12, 2006:
Council Directive 2006/95/EC as amended. Approximation of the laws of the member
states related to low voltage equipment.
December 31, 2004:
Council Directive 2004/108/EC as amended. Approximation of the laws of the member
states related to electromagnetic compatibility.
