Deploying the Master Image—Mass Deployment
If you are deploying the new image to more than a few thin clients, remote
deployment makes much more sense. Select from the following three procedures:

HP ThinConnect to HP ThinPro Using HPDM/PXE

HP ThinConnect to HP ThinPro Using Altiris
HP ThinConnect to HP ThinPro Using FTP Update
HP ThinConnect to HP ThinPro Using HPDM/PXE
Before you begin this procedure, you will need a copy of your master image on a
bootable USB drive key.

Setting Up the Master Thin Client

No setup is required.

Capturing the Master Image

1. On the console, click the ThinPro tab.
2. Click the master thin client in the Device Tree pane.
3. Click Imaging in the Task Template pane.
4. Double-click _PXE Imaging to open the Template Editor Imaging window.
5. Click the Content tab, and then click Pull PXE image from device in the Action
area.
6. In the PXE Image area, type a PXE Image Name in the field.
7. Click Save As and type a template name in the field. Click OK.
8. Locate and select the new template in the Task Template list.
9. Click and drag the template to the master thin client in the Device Tree pane.
10. Click OK.
