Installing the Hard Disk Drive in Your PC
1 Install the hard disk drive in an appropriate shelf in your PC.
2 Connect the data cable to the hard disk drive.
3 Connect the hard disk drive's power cable.

Completing the Installation

1 Replace the PC's cover.
2 Reconnect all cables and power cords.
3 If necessary, insert a boot diskette in drive A and turn on your
PC.
4 If necessary, run your PC's Setup program by pressing F2 while
<Setup=F2> is displayed on the screen.
To verify that the information that appears in the Setup program is
correct for your hard disk drive(s), refer to "Technical
Specifications" in the HP IDE Hard Disk Drive Technical
Information.
