Moisture Condensation

•
If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a warm place,
moisture may condense inside the camcorder, on the surface of the tape,
or on the lens. In this condition, the tape may stick to the head drum and be
damaged or the unit may not operate correctly.To prevent possible damage
under these circumstances, the camcorder is fi tted with a moisture sensor.

Condensation due à l'humidité
•
Si le caméscope passe sans transition d'un endroit froid à un endroit chaud, de
l'humidité peut se condenser à l'intérieur du caméscope, sur la surface de la bande
ou sur l'objectif. Dans ces conditions, la bande risque d'adhérer à la tête vidéo
et d'être endommagée ou l'appareil risque de ne pas fonctionner correctement.
Pour éviter d'éventuels dommages dans ces conditions, le caméscope est équipé
d'un détecteur d'humidité.

En cas d'humidité à l'intérieur du caméscope, le témoin
s'affiche. Si cette éventualité se produit, aucune fonction exceptée l'éjection de la
cassette n'est valide. Ouvrez le compartiment à cassette et retirez la batterie.
Laissez le caméscope au repos pendant au moins deux heures dans un endroit
chaud et sec.
