USING YOUR MINIDV CAMCORDER ABROAD

Each country or region has its own electric and color systems.
•
Before using your miniDV camcorder abroad, check the following
items.

Power sources

The provided AC adaptor features automatic voltage selection in the
AC range from 100 V to 240 V.You can use your camcorder in any
countries/regions using the AC power adaptor supplied with your
camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V, 50/60 Hz range.Use a
commercially available AC plug adaptor, if necessary, depending on
the design of the wall outlet.

On TV color systems

Your camcorder is an NTSC-system-based camcorder. If you want
to view your recordings on a TV or to copy it to an external device, it
must be an NTSC-system-based TV or an external device and have
the appropriate Audio/Video jacks. Otherwise, you may need to use a
separate video format transcoder (NTSC-PAL format converter).
NTSC-compatible countries/regions
Bahamas, Canada, Central America, Japan, Korea, Mexico,
Philippines, Taiwan, United States of America, etc.
PAL-compatible countries/regions
Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, CIS, Czech Republic,
Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany,
Greece, Great Britain, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Hungary, India,
Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Norway,Romania,
Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden,
Switzerland, Syria, Thailand, Tunisia, etc.
You can make recordings with your miniDV camcorder
and view pictures on the LCD screen from anywhere in
the world.

Avant d'utiliser votre caméscope Mini-DV à l'étranger, vérifi ez les points
suivants.
Sources d'alimentation
L'adaptateur AC fourni sélectionne automatiquement le voltage dans la
plage 100-240 V. Vous pouvez utiliser votre caméscope dans tous les pays/
zones géographiques permettant l'utilisation de l'adaptateur secteur AC fourni
avec votre appareil dans la plage 100-240 V, 50-60 Hz. Utilisez si nécessaire
un raccord de prise CA acheté dans le commerce selon la forme des prises
murales.
Codes de couleurs sur un téléviseur
Votre caméscope utilise le système NTSC.
Pour visionner vos enregistrements sur un téléviseur ou pour les copier sur
un appareil externe, le téléviseur ou l'appareil externe en question doivent
également être de type NTSC et posséder les prises Audio/Vidéo adéquat es.
Si tel n'est pas le cas, vous aurez peut-être besoin d'une carte de transcodage
vidéo séparée (convertisseur de format NTSC-PAL).
