Rings to Auto-Answer. Sets the number of telephone rings
required before the modem automatically answers a call. If
S0=0, then auto-answer is disabled.

Ring Counter. Counts the number of telephone rings from
an incoming call. The register is set to 0 if it detects no
rings for 8 seconds.

character. Any value over 127 disables the escape process.
