Action to take
Calibrate the touch panel.
If the touch panel is detached and then reattached,
it may be installed in a slightly different position.
This can cause the touch position not to align with
the cursor position. Always calibrate the touch panel
after it has been detached and reattached.
If the wrong sensor position is set for the touch
panel, the direction of the touch and the direction
in which the cursor moves will differ. Set the sensor
position to match the direction of rotation of the
touch panel.
Start up the setup panel and select the mode that
best suits your needs from the "Click mode" pull-
down menu.
Set "Range for reducing offset" to a high value so
that the slightest touch is not treated as a dragging
operation.
Check the Double click support setting.
If "Range for reducing offset" is set low, the slightest
touch is treated as a dragging operation. Set a
higher value for "Range for reducing offset".
If "Range for reducing offset" is set low, the slightest
touch is treated as a dragging operation. Set a
higher value for "Range for reducing offset".
Infrared rays can penetrate and trigger malfunctions.
Move the infrared ray source as far away as
possible.
Dirt and refl ective matter can be recognized as
touches whereby causing malfunctions. Remove
any dirt and refl ective matter.
Log in with access privileges to the installation folder
or acquire access privileges to the folder. (See the
instruction manual of the OS.)
