The recommended channel spacing between adjacent access points is 5 channels (for example, use channels 1 and 6, or 6 and 11).

The rest of the profiles are disabled and must be enabled if configured. • Wireless Network Name (SSID). The SSID is also know as the wireless network name. The SSID separates network traffic from different wireless networks.

However, you may customize it by using up to 32 alphanumeric characters. Write your customized SSID on the line below. The RADIUS Server must be used with Legacy 802.1x, and can be used with WPA and WPA2 Network Authentication.

Each profile can also be set up with a different security options for network authentication.

    The software of the ProSafe 802.11g is stored in Flash memory, and can be upgraded as new software is released by NETGEAR. Upgrade files can be downloaded from the NETGEAR Web site. If the upgrade file is compressed (.ZIP file), you must first extract the image (.RMG) file before sending it to the wireless access point.
