Video Mode : Setting Various Functions

Setting the Program AE (Programmed Auto Exposure)

It allows you to adjust the aperture setting to suit different conditions.
1. Move [Mode Selector] down to turn on the CAM.
N The Video Record screen appears.
N You can select Video mode or Previous mode
as the start-up mode in System Settings.
(Refer to page 96)
2. Press the [Menu] button and move the [ L /M ]
switch.
Press the [OK] button after selecting <Settings>.
3. Move the [ L /M ] switch to select <Program AE>
and press the [OK] button.
N Auto: Auto balance between the subject and
background to get the best result. The shutter
speed automatically varies from 1/60 to 1/250
per second depending on the scene.
N Sports (
): For recording fast-moving people
or objects. It is suitable for sports events,
recording outside in the car.
N Spotlight (
): Compensates for a subject
that appears too bright under strong direct light
such as spotlight. It is suitable for concert and
school performance.
N Sand/Snow (
): Use when the light is very
strong such as on the beach or in the snow.
N HS Shutter (
): Allows fast-moving images
to be captured one frame at a time.
4. Move the [ L /M ] switch to select desired setting
and press the [OK] button.
5. Press the [Menu] button to finish setting.
N The icon of selected function is displayed.
N If you select <Auto>, any icon is not displayed.
Notes
✤ If you select <Back> in the menu, the previous
menu appears.
✤ Press and hold the [Menu] button in Video Record
mode, you can move to <Settings> directly.

✤ Mantenga pulsado el botón [Menu] en la modalidad Video Record
<Grabar vídeo>, así podrá ir directamente a Settings <Ajustes>.
1. Mueva el [Selector de modalidad] hacia abajo
para encender la VIDEOCÁMARA.
N Aparece la pantalla Video Record <Grabar vídeo>.
N Puede seleccionar la modalidad Video <Vídeo> o
la modalidad anterior como la modalidad de
inicio en System Settings <Config. del sistema>.

2. Pulse el botón [Menu] y mueva el interruptor
[L /M ]. Pulse el botón [OK] tras seleccionar
Settings <Ajustes>.
3. Mueva el interruptor [L /M ] hasta seleccionar
Program AE <Programa AE> y pulse el botón [OK].
N Auto: Balance automático entre el sujeto y el
fondo para obtener el mejor resultado. La
velocidad del obturador se ajusta automáticamente
entre 1/60 y 1/250 por segundo, según la escena
que se esté grabando.
N Sports(
): Para grabación rápida con
movimiento de gente u objetos. Es ideal para
acontecimientos deportivos, grabaciones de
exterior en coche.
N Spotlight( Video Settings
): Compensa un objeto que
aparece demasiado brillante bajo la luz directa
como un foco. Es ideal para conciertos y
actuaciones escolares.
N Sand/Snow(
): Se utiliza cuando la luz es
muy fuerte, como en la playa o en la nieve.
N HS Shutter(
): Permite capturar imágenes en
rápido movimiento por fotogramas.
4. Mueva el interruptor [L /M ] hasta seleccionar el
ajuste que desea y pulse el botón [OK].
5. Pulse el botón [Menu] para finalizar el ajuste.
N Aparece el icono de la función seleccionada.
Video Settings
N Si selecciona Auto <Autom.>, no aparece ningún
icono.
Notas
✤ Si selecciona Back <Volver> en el menú, aparece el
menú anterior.
