To make an entry in the phonebook or view an existing entry's speed dial number, see "Storing a
Phonebook Entry" on page 29.

Dialing with One-Touch Dial

You can call phonebook entries 2 through 9 with the push of a single key. Just press and hold the
one-digit speed dial number for one second.
It is recommended that you reserve location 1 in the phonebook for storing your voicemail number. In
many cases, your service provider has already stored your voicemail number in location 1. If your
voicemail number is not accessible by pressing and holding the

Dialing a Number In a Text Message

If you receive a text message with an embedded phone number, you can dial the number
directly.
Note: You must set up your inbox before opening messages. See "Set Up the Text Message Inbox" on
page 47.
