NOTE
During the PTY mode, "PTY SEARCH MODE" is
displayed.
Selecting the Bands
Touch either [ FM ] or [ AM ] to select the band.
Each time you touch [ FM ], the band switches .
Touch [ AM ] to select the AM band.
Tuning
The operation is as follows according to the Seek
mode of a center unit.
Auto Seek Tuning (AUTO1)
Touch [ ¢ ] to seek increasing frequencies.
Touch [ 4 ] to seek decreasing frequencies.
Preset Station Seek Tuning (AUTO2)
Touch [ ¢ ] to move to the next preset station (i.e.,
the one with the next highest number), and [ 4 ] to
move to the last preset station (i.e., the one with the
next lowest number).
Manual Tuning (MANU)
Touch [ ¢ ] to increase the frequency by one step.
Touch [ 4 ] to decrease the frequency by one step.
NOTE
The ST indicator is displayed when stereo broadcasts
are being received.
Recalling a Preset Station
Touch the preset station number [ 1 ] - [ 6 ] for the
desired station. The number of the recalled station is
displayed.
NOTE
The number of Preset stations depends on a center unit
connected
Direct Access Tuning
When you know the frequency of the station that
you want to listen to, you can input it directly for
quick access.

Select the band by touching the [ FM ] or [ AM ].

Touch [ DIR ] .
"----" is displayed for 10 seconds.
If you make no input in the 10-second period, direct
access tuning is automatically canceled.

Enter the frequency of the desired station.
If you want to listen to an FM station at 92.1
MHz, for example, touch 0, 9, 2, and 1.
If you want to listen to an AM station at 810 kHz,
for example, touch 0, 8, 1, and 0.
Canceling Direct Access Tuning:
Touch the [ DIR ] again.

Switching to the Next Source Mode
Touch [SRC] to switch to the next source control
screen.
Switching to the Menu Screen
Touch [ MENU ] to switch to the menu screen.
Turning the Attenuator On/Off
Turn down the volume quickly.
Touch [ ATT ] to switch the Attenuator on and off.
