Playing Messages/Memos
Playing New Messages Only:
To play only the messages that have been received since the last time you checked your messages, press and
release 6 after the 2-beep signal.
Playing All Messages:
To play all messages, press and release 7 after the 2-beep signal.
Interrupting Message Playback:
To interrupt message playback, press and release #, to continue playback, press and release 7.
Saving Your Messages:
To save messages you've just heard, simply hang up the telephone. Any new messages will be recorded
after the saved messages.
Clearing Messages:
If you do not want to save your messages, press and release 3 3 after listening to all your messages. The
tape rewinds and resets so that new messages are recorded over the old ones.
NOTE: If you decide to save the earlier messages, you can still do so if new ones have not yet been
recorded over them. Just press and release 7 to replay the messages, and then hang up to save them.
Replaying All Messages:
After all messages have been played and you hear "End of Messages" followed by 2 beeps, press and
release 7. The system replays the messages, and says "End of Messages" after the last message is played.
Repeating a Message:
To repeat a message, press and release 2. The system will stop playing, rewind the tape to the beginning of
the message, and resume playing. The tape will back up one message each time you press and release 2.
Skipping a Message:
To skip a message, press and release 5. The system stops playing, advances the tape to the beginning of the
next message and resumes playing. The tape will advance one message each time you press and release 5.
Advancing the Tape:
While listening to messages, hold down 5 to advance the tape quickly. The tape advances as long as you
hold down the key (minimum 2 seconds). When you release the key, messages resume playing from that
position on the tape.
Rewinding the Tape:
While listening to messages, hold down 2 to rewind the tape. The tape rewinds as long as you hold down
the key (minimum 2 seconds). When you release the key, messages resume playing from that position on
the tape.
Playing Your Personal Memo:
1.
Dial your telephone number from a touch-tone phone and wait for the system to answer.
2.
When the announcement begins to play enter your Remote Access code.
3.
After the 2-beep signal, press and release 3 1.
4.
The system advances the tape past the announcement (which takes several seconds) and plays the
recorded personal memo.
After playing the personal memo, the system rewinds the tape and beeps twice. You can hang up or enter
another remote access command.
A personal memo can also be played remotely by using the Personal Memo code.
