Unplug the power cord from the power supply to disconnect power to the equipment.

Do not route the power cord where it can be walked on or pinched by items placed

against it. Pay particular attention to the plug, electrical outlet, and the point where the
cord extends from the storage system.
Plug the console switch power cord into a power source. The power supply status indicator LED

NOTE:
CAT5 or better cables can be used for any connection.
Connect a UTP CAT5 cable to the LAN connector on the console switch.

Ethernet switches on the same subnet.
Connect the other end of that same UTP CAT5 cable to an Ethernet switch.
