Description
After an initial program load (IPL), the optical transceiver
technical data is read from hardware and, if it was
invalid, the port was erroneously set to Inactive state due
to port speed conflict.
Multiple faults occurred after setting port's hosting node
port ID virtualization (NPIV) devices offline.
A domain/port zoning activation sometimes caused port
login (PLOGI) failure due to internal timing issue.
A switch sometimes responded to get entry for port type
(GE_PT) before routing tables were ready, due to fabric
rebuild.
When the Fabric View in HAFM Basic switch GUI was
opened and the fabric included an Mi10K, which does
not have an embedded GUI, a C0 fault was encountered.
In a FICON environment, the label file download failed
after upgrading from firmware 8.x to 9.x.
Using third party management via Open Systems
Management Server (OSMS), zone control operations
failed when a large zoneset was sent.
A memory leak caused a lockup after 32 pause frames
received from B-Series switch.
On rare occasions after upgrading to firmware 9.x, the
Ethernet port was not reset properly, causing loss of
manageability.
Receive buffer-buffer (RX BB) credits were being
inadvertently set to 0 (zero) after running online
diagnostics.
EFCM Basic product information did not always display
Element Manager as an installed feature.
Data collection sometimes caused a Control Processor
(CTP) processor fault.
FICON Allow/Prohibit matrix was lost after QPM was
installed.
