Chapter 5. Installing the operating system

To install the operating system on a blade server, you can use any of the following
methods:
v Use the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD to install a supported Microsoft
v Use the Remote Deployment Manager (RDM) Version 4.11 Update 3 (or later)

Using the ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD

The ServerGuide Setup and Installation CD provides state-of-the-art programs to
detect the blade server model and installed hardware options, configure the blade
server hardware, provide device drivers, and help you install your operating system.
