Using the [REC] Mode Menu

For details on [REC] Mode menu settings, refer to P56.
[PHOTO STYLE], [FOCUS MODE], [METERING MODE], [I.DYNAMIC] and [DIGITAL ZOOM]
are common to both the [REC] Mode menu and [MOTION PICTURE] Mode menu. Changing
these settings in one of these menus is reflected in other menu.
Sets the color and picture quality to match the subject.
Applicable modes:
[STANDARD]

[VIVID]

[NATURAL]
[MONOCHROME]

[SCENERY]
¢1, 2
[PORTRAIT]
¢1
[CUSTOM]
¢1 This is disabled when Intelligent Auto Mode or Scene Mode is selected.
¢2 Color and picture quality are approximately the same as the [SCENERY] and [PORTRAIT] in
Scene Modes, but picture quality can be adjusted as desired with [PHOTO STYLE].
Recording

[PHOTO STYLE]

This is the standard setting.
The picture becomes sharper.
The picture becomes softer.
Single color setting.
Setting to record a distant view with colors close to what you see.
Setting to enhance a person and bring out healthy skin color.
Use the setting registered in advance.
