show modem version (pvdm2)

To display version information about the modem firmware, controller, and boot code, use the show

modem version command in Privileged EXEC mode.

Syntax Description

This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines

This command is useful for verifying the version of modem firmware running on the system before or

after a modem firmware upgrade. If there is a "-/-" in the DSP REV field, you cannot use the spe

configuration commands for firmware download on that modem.

Examples

The following example displays modem version information about PVDM2-xxDM digital modems. This

example specifically shows information about a Cisco 2821 router with three PVDM2-36DMs,

high-density pvdms holding 36 digital modems each.

Router# show modem version
