5. Close the top cover.

YOUR HANDS AWAY
FROM THE POSTS AT
THE BACK OF THE
SCANNER STAND
WHEN MOVING THE
SHELF DOWN.
6. Place one hand firmly on the front
handle of the scanner shelf, then
press the release handle and
carefully lower the scanner shelf,
making sure it locks in place.
