BRAKE INSPECTION

<BRAKE PAD INSPECTION>
Operate brake and, if the brake pad wear
limit line reaches the brake disc side, it
indicates the pad has reached wear limit.
°aREAR WHEEL°b
Push the brake pedal with han ds for
resistance and check if the pedal movement
a p p r o p r i a t e .
If brake pedal movement is inappropriate,
adjust the pedal free play using the rear wheel
brake adjuster nut.
°‹ To adjust pedal free play, turn adjuster nut.
After adjustment, push the brake pedal
with hands until you feel resistance and
check to see if the pedal free play is within
prescribed range.
BRAKE PEDAL FREE PLAY :
20~30mm
<BRAKE SHOE INSPECTION>
Push brake pedal completely and, if the
brake arm arrow and the "°‚ " on brake
panel match each other, it indicates brake
shoe has reached its life limit.
In case brake pad or shoe reaches
the w ear li mit lin e, replace it
i m m e d - i a t e l y .
