SFP+ Module Installation
To install an SFP+ module (typical installation shown):
1. Insert the SFP+ module into the moodule bay. Press firmly to ensure that the module seats into
the connector.
2. To install additional Gigabi Ethernet modules, repeast step 1.

SFP Modules

The module bay accommodates a standard SFP module with an LC connector that is compatible
with the IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-X standard. SPF modules are sold separately.

1. Insert the SFP module into the module bay. Press firmly to ensure that the module seats into
the connector.

High-Speed I/O Module Bays
The High-Speed I/O Module Bays support ProSafe 10-Gigabit Ethernet XFP Adapters (AX741),
ProSafe 10-Gigabit Ethernet SFP+ Adapters (AX743), or ProSafe 24-Gigabit Stackable Modules
(AX742).
