QuickConnectPipe
The Quick Connect
a preassembled
pipe that makes installing a
sump pump quick and easy!
Consists
of:
• 1-1/2" Rubber Coupling
• 1-1/2" Check Valve
• Female Adapter (Pre Cemented)
• Pre Drilled Weep Hole (to prevent air lock)
• Discharge Pipe
• 1-1/2" Threaded Male Adapter
(Pre-Cemented)
• ThequickConnect Pipeisfor usewith ground waterapplications o nly. Donotusein sewage pits.
• Makesure the check valveisscrewed intightly intothe Quick Connect Pipebeforeinstalling
• TheQuickConnectPipecomeswith acheckvalve.Additional checkvalvesarenot neededandshould
be removed.
• TheQuickConnectPipecomeswith a predrilled 3/16 inch air relief hole. DoNOT obstruct this hole or
anair lockmayprevent t he pumpfromoperating.
Screw the male threaded portion of the Quick
Connect Pipe into the outlet of the pump.

Place the pumpwith Quick Connect P ipeintothe
sump pit.
@ Measure t he distance fromhalfwayupthe rubber
union to the top where the vertical discharge
pipe will turn and connect with the horizontal
vertical discharge pipe.

- Page 2 Cut a piece of 1-1/2" PVCto this length. Using sound plumbing practices install the discharge pipes. Insert the rubber union into the vertical discharge pipe. Be sure there is ample coverage between the rubber union and vertical discharge pipe. Tighten both upper and lower hose clamps on the rubber union.
