It guides you or the technical personnel of the machine and plant manufacturer or operator in the safe assembly, installation, commissioning, and operation of the product.

Failure to observe this safety instruction will result in death or serious damage to health.
  • Page 8 3 General Information Kübler Group The secure encoder supports safety functions as a sensor for speed and direction of rotation. The encoder is not able independently to bring about a safe state in the safety function. Hazardous situations have to be detected and evaluated by a higher-level control. The deployment location can also be where flammable mixtures can occur, see chapter Explosion Protection [} 13].
