    SKOPE ProSpec Underbench Freezer Series Control probe Hot gas pipes Removable cartridge Once the evaporator probe (attached to the outlet of the evaporator) reaches 15°C, the termination temperature, there are 5 minutes of passive drip time. The typical hot gas defrost time is 2 to 8 minutes (depending on the amount of ice) every 3 hours.

    Part 2 – Systems other than self-contained low charge systems. Important • SKOPE hydrocarbon refrigeration systems must only be serviced by appropriately skilled and qualified refrigeration mechanics. • Servicing a sealed refrigeration system must occur at a hydrocarbon workshop or service area with dedicated hydrocarbon equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

    Some minor servicing can be performed without removing the refrigeration cartridge. The cartridge must only be used on a SKOPE hydrocarbon-compliant cabinet. Refer to the cabinet rating label to see if the cabinet is suitable to use with a hydrocarbon cartridge. The rating label must state refrigerant as R290.
  • Page 22 The SKOPE ProSpec remote refrigeration system is an end-mounted system which does not include a condensing unit. The condensing unit, which is not supplied by SKOPE, needs to be selected and installed by a qualified refrigeration mechanic in the remote location.
