This document is provided for reference only. It may slightly differ from the actual product due to version upgrade or other reasons.

Accessories Before installation, check whether the following items are included in the accessory box delivered with the device. If any accessories are missing or destroyed, please contact the local dealer.

  • Page 16 NSFOCUS NIPS Installation Guide Rack Mounting Figure 2-1 Figure 2-2 respectively show the appearance and number of accessories required for 1U and 2U NIPS devices. 3.2.1 Putting a 1U NIPS on the Rack To put a 1U NIPS on the rack, follow these steps: Step 1 Install front mounting ears.

Install four nuts (⑤) labeled "Rack Screw" at the front end of the chassis. Place the device in the cabinet horizontally to make front rack-mounting ears align with the nuts in the chassis.

Install four nuts (⑤) labeled "Rack Screw" at the front end of the chassis. Place the device in the cabinet in parallel to make front rack-mounting ears align with the nuts in the chassis.

If necessary, disconnect NIPS from the network to restore network connectivity, and then troubleshoot NIPS.
