Protect the signal output of the instrument against contamination and do not touch it with your fingers. Fit the cover supplied when the connection is not used.

Product description 3. Product description Overview The RoaDyn P106/ P109 wheel torque transducers are universal sensors for measuring the traction torque of small and large cars, SUVs, light trucks and high- performance vehicles up to a maximum of ±6,000 N·m and ±9,000 N·m respectively.

Mounting 5. Mounting Preparation and tools The work surface must be clean and dry. Use appropriate storage surfaces and lifting gear. The wheel torque transducers may only be fitted and modified by trained personnel. Wear safety shoes and gloves. Use suitable lifting gear when fitting a wheel torque transducer.

RoaDyn P106 / P109 – Wheel torque transducers Mounting The entire combination of tire, rim and rim adapter can be balanced using the balancing adapter (type Z18432Q...) and a spacer ring (type Z17984Q...). Tighten the screws (sensor with rim adapter) with a torque of 30 N·m.

Mounting Mount the hub adapter using the appropriate screws. Tighten them to a torque of 120 N·m (see car manual) at intervals of 80 N·m – 100 N·m – 120 N·m crosswise 1-3-5-2-4-1 Fig. 7: Mounting, step 5 Make sure that the screws have the correct head shape (conical or spherical).

RoaDyn P106 / P109 – Wheel torque transducers Dismounting Dismount the Wheel Unit. To do this, loosen the four screws and pull the Wheel Unit off the wheel. Then, install the dust cover. To do this, align the hole in the cover with the positioning bolt of the wheel and then tighten the four screws.
