Preventive Maintenance Manual 2 Transformer Inspection Inspecting Cable Connections Step 1 Check the electrical connections. Power off the device. Open the transformer HV room door and inspect the cable heads (see Figure A) to en- sure proper connection and no misalignment. Check that the cable clamps (see Figure B) securely hold the cables (see Figure C) and that all bolts are tightened Check that the grounding cables are securely connected.
Check that the cover at the connection between the transformer and the inverter is se- curely closed. ① Visually check if any screws are missing from the cover. If so, contact SUNGROW promptly. ② Use a wrench or screwdriver to verify if any screws are loose. If so, tighten them immediately.
