Alarms Tab

Use the Alarms tab to define alarm settings. The Alarms tab is divided into three
sub tabs: System, Nav, and Sonar. If you have a GDL 30/30A connected , the
Weather sub tab is visible.
Alarm messages appear in red across the status bar or change the appearance of
a data field if that field shows alarm-related data (for example, depth or voltage).
Press QUIT to acknowledge an alarm message. The status bar and data field
remain red while the alarm condition persists.
To set an alarm:
1. Use the ROCKER to highlight the System, Nav, Sonar, or Weather sub
tab.
2. Highlight the field next to the alarm you want to set, and press ENTER.
3. Change the mode to the setting you want, and press ENTER.
4. Repeat steps 1–3 to set additional alarms, and then press ENTER when
finished.

determined low voltage.
• GPS Accuracy—sets an alarm to sound when the GPS location accuracy
falls outside the user-determined value.
Nav (Navigation) Alarms
Use the Nav sub tab to set navigational alarms, including anchor drag, arrival, and
off course.
• Anchor Drag—sets an alarm to sound when a specified drift distance is
exceeded. Enter a value in the distance field, and use the control field to
turn the alarm on and off.
