Tuning Database Performance

In the Directory Server Console, select the Configuration tab, and then select

Select the Performance tab in the right pane.

Set the maximum number of entries the server will return to the client in

Enter the maximum amount of real time (in seconds) you want the server to

idle connection before terminating it in the Idle Timeout text box.

Set the maximum number of file descriptors available to the Directory Server
