Monitoring Server and Database Activity
This chapter describes monitoring database and Red Hat Directory Server
(Directory Server) logs. This chapter contains the following sections:

Viewing and Configuring Log Files

Directory Server provides three types of logs to help you better manage your
directory and tune performance. These logs include:
Access Log
Error Log
Audit Log
The following aspects are common to the configuration of all types of logs:
Defining a log file creation policy.
Defining a log file deletion policy.
The following sections describe how to define your log file creation and deletion
policy and how to view and configure each type of log.
