- Page 5 LEDs When the SDG-8612 and SDG-8614 first power up, they perform a self-test. Once the power on self-test (POST) is complete, the LEDs display the status of the device. Multifunction Status LED for SmartOS The Multifunction Status LED on the front of the unit indicates the status of the device. The following table defines this LED's different states while running SmartOS.
