To set preferences for progress indicator,

Select Edit > Preferences (Windows) or Adobe Captivate > Preferences (Mac OS).

In the Preferences dialog box, select Quiz > Settings.

In the Settings section, select Show Progress.

Specify a progress type. This decides how the progress bar displays the user's progress through the questions.
Relative Progress lists the current question and the total number of questions (for example, "Question 3 out of 10").
Absolute Progress lists just the question number (for example, "Question 3").e
Setting properties
Select the progress indicator on stage and then specify the properties in the Property Inspector.
Select a style for the progress indicator. To define a new style, select Edit > Object Style Manager. For more

Specify the options to customize the appearance of the text for your progress bar.

General workflow for question slides

Add the question slide
In an open project, select the slide after which you want to insert question slides.

Select Quiz > Question Slide.

Select the question types from the following and specify the number of questions slides of each type that must be
inserted:
Users select one or more correct answers from a list.
Multiple Choice
Users choose either True or False (or Yes or No).
True/False
Users complete a blank in a sentence or phrase.
Fill-In-The-Blank
Users supply a word or phrase.
Short Answer
Users match entries in two lists.
Matching
Users move the pointer over areas on the slide.
Hot Spot
Users arrange listed items in the correct sequence.
Sequence
Users indicate their level of agreement with statements.
Rating Scale (Likert)
Displays questions that are randomly selected from a question pool to which they are linked.
Random Question
After you select Random Question, select the appropriate question pool in Linked Question Pool. For details, see
