Setting Up the Tablet PC
Selecting Regional Settings in a Multilingual
User Interface (MUI)
The Microsoft® Windows® XP Multilingual User Interface
(MUI) is an add-on to the English version of the Windows XP
Tablet Edition. It allows users or administrators to switch the
operating system user interface (menus, dialogs, and so on) from
one language to another, or to vary the language interface for each
user. This feature simplifies administration and support in
multilingual computing environments.
For more information about using the Tablet PC MUI, refer on
the Documentation Library CD to the Software Guide, "Software
Updates and Restorations" chapter.

Selecting Screen Settings

HP highly recommends that you use the default screen resolution
setting of 1024 × 768 pixels. This setting optimizes the display
and operation of tablet PC features for most users.
To access other screen settings, including screen savers and
color quality:
»
Select Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes
icon > Display icon.
To display information about any setting in the Display Properties
window:
»
Select the question mark button in the upper-right corner of
the window, then select a setting. A definition, explanation,
or procedure is displayed.
