Instructions for converting cooktop to operate on Liquefied Petroleum Gas

CAUTION
This conversion kit must be installed by a qualified service technician in accordance with the
manufacturers instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. Failure to follow
these instructions may result in fire, explosion or production of carbon monoxide causing property damage, personal injury
or loss of life. The qualified service agency is responsible for the installation of this kit. The installation is not complete until
the converted appliance is checked as specified in the manufacturer's instructions supplied with this kit.

STEP1: Determine your model from the figure shown below. Compare the cooktop to be converted to the illustration. The
combination of the burners and knob location yields the model number and correct conversion kit. Install main orifice and bypass
orifice at the location specified in the kit.
NOTE: For elevations above 2000 ft., appliance rating shall be reduced at the rate of 4% for each 1000 ft. above sea level.
IMPORTANT: After replacing the natural gas to LP orifices, be sure to keep the original factory installed natural gas orifices
for future conversion back to natural gas. The tables provided on the page 9 of these instructions provide the locations for
the natural gas orifices.
IMPORTANT: SAVE FOR BUILDING INSPECTORS USE.
Before proceeding with the conversion, shut off the gas supply before disconnecting electrical
