Scan Window Operations
After editing an image in the Nikon Scan applet and saving it to
disk, you may want to open the scan window and adjust settings
for another scan.
Opening the scan window
Depending on your platform, one of the following two methods
can be used to open the scan window:
• The Tools Sub-Menu
Selecting a scanner from the Tools sub-menu in the Nikon
Scan menu opens the scan window for the device.
• Open Source (Windows only)
In the Windows version of Nikon Scan, you can open the
scan windows for all connected scanners by selecting Open
TWAIN Source from the File menu or by clicking the
button in the toolbar.
Nikon Scan does not support simultaneous connection of more
than one 4000 ED or of more than one COOLSCAN IV ED. If
more than one scanner of the same type is connected, only one
of the devices will appear in the Tools menu.
